Health & Nutrition: Pumpkin Spice Latte - At Home Healthy Recipe

I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin in general, but when the cooler weather settles in like it is now, I mark the end of summer by having a Pumpkin Spice Latte, which is a fall favorite for many. Signature espresso blended with the unmistakable spices of fall – cinnamon, nutmeg and clove – smooth with steamed milk, topped with delectably sweetened whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices. And this year is a special one for pumpkin heads. That’s because their beloved PSL turns ten this year, celebrate a decade of pumpkin devotion and the return of fall with the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

My preferred recipe is a skinny pumpkin latte with two pumps with an extra shot of espresso. Below is a general chart of nutritional make up. They have an interactive one on the Starbucks website, so that you can input how you take your latte for exact information.

Another option is the Dunkin Donuts version available in plain pumpkin spice coffee, a latte version as well home coffee bags ! If by chance you live in an area that does not have Dunkin Donuts and need your fix, take home bags are available for shipment on the website.

For those who would like a dairy free version, check out this easy recipe you can try at home. Almond or coconut milk would work just as well as soy, so go with your preference.
This video is reason number 543 why I usually won't sit in coffee shops with a laptop for hours, not even for free WiFi! LOL! It's pretty funny, but some of the people in the coffee shop were definitely saying in their minds, "I'm glad it was not me that spilled her coffee!" hahahahaha
