My inspiration for this post is AOL on's documentary/drama, city.ballet. A short blurb about the 12 episode-6:00 minutes each series is below. There are also quite a few behind the scenes coverage.
I danced for some years then stopped and attempted to pick it back up again, but it was too painful, but I still wear my ballet sweaters and my ballet slippers (at home). :-)
It truly takes more strength to dance and appear light as a feather than power-lifting or body building in my opinion.
